Snow Emergency - Level 1
Ross County (the county in which the park resides) is currently under a Level 1 snow emergency (01/11/25 - 13:00). Roadways may be snow and ice covered in places. Drive carefully if/when traveling in the area.
Caution: Slippery Conditions
Sidewalks, parking lots & trails are snow-covered and slick @ all sites (Seip, Hopeton, Hopewell Mound Group & Mound City Group) due to recent snow & ice. Crews will be working to mitigate slippery surfaces. Please use caution when visiting the park.

Temporary Closure of Seip Earthworks Gate
Seip Earthworks is open to visitors and parking is available at the pull off near US 50, but a gated lane will be closed. This closure will only last through the winter until approximately March 28, 2025. Call 740-774-1126 for more information.
