Stage II Fire Restrictions are in effect beginning Tuesday, January 21, 2025. Due to high fire danger, El Morro is currently under Stage II Fire Restrictions. These include no campfires. No smoking except in an enclosed vehicle or other authorized area.

WNP Bookstore to Go Cashless, Beginning June 8, 2025
On June 8, 2025, the Western National Parks (WNP) bookstore will move to a cashless operation at El Morro. Purchases can be made with credit and debit cards as well as contactless payment methods including Google Pay, Apple Pay, and Samsung Pay.
