Winter Weather Closures
Visitor Centers, entrance stations, and campground offices are closed. Opal Beach and Okaloosa Area restrooms are closed. The park is open for day use along with the Fort Pickens Ferry Plaza, Perdido West, and Naval Live Oaks South restrooms.
Fort Barrancas Closure
The Fort Barrancas Area to include the visitor center and the fort will be closed for the season until Spring of 2025.
Perdido Key Kayak Launch and Parking Lot Closure
The Perdido Key Kayak Launch and Parking Lot will be closed for public use while the Perdidio Key Boardwalk is being rebuilt. Expect reopening in Spring.

No Dogs on Beach
Dogs and pets are not allowed on any of the beaches in Gulf Islands National Seashore. Visit the pet rules page for information.
Fee Stations Credit Card Only
Fee Stations are only accepting credit cards for the purchase of passes. Visitors can also purchase digital passes in advance at www.recreation.gov/sitepass/74285
