Highway 280 through Plains closed on January 9
On Thursday, January 9, road closures will be enforced by Georgia State Patrol from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Highway 280 from Rabbit Branch Road west of Plains to Bob Dodson Road east of Plains, and from Highway 280 north to Jack Slappy Road.
Extended hours through January 9
All sites at Jimmy Carter National Historical Park will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. through January 9.
Building Hours on January 9
All sites at Jimmy Carter National Historical Park open at 9 a.m. Jimmy Carter Boyhood Farm will close at 12 p.m., while Plains High School and the Plains Depot will close at 7 p.m.
