Winter Weather Closure for Tuesday, January 21
Due to forecasted freezing temperatures, chance of ice and snow, and possible hazardous driving conditions, Lyndon B. Johnson NHP (both Johnson City and LBJ Ranch) will be closed Tuesday, January 21. Updates will be posted here and on Social Media.
Texas White House Complex Closure
On January 2, 2024 the Texas White House Complex closed so the construction phase of the Texas White House rehabilitation can begin. The LBJ Ranch driving tour remains open. Visitors can still see the school, cemetery, birthplace and showbarn. Plus d'information

Birthplace Restrooms on LBJ Ranch - Forecasted freezing weather
Flush toilets at the Birthplace are temporarily closed to prevent frozen pipes. Restrooms with running water can be found at LBJ State Park across the river from the Ranch. We suggest using State Park facilities when picking up your ranch driving permit.
