Parkway closed to all uses in some areas
Hurricane Helene damaged the Blue Ridge Parkway. Closed areas may be unstable and dangerous or in use by heavy equipment working to clear and improve the Parkway. No use is allowed in closed areas (closed to drivers, pedestrians, bicyclists, etc.). 10/31 Plus d'information
Winter Weather Closure
Closure due to winter weather conditions. Recreation of any kind is not permitted in any Parkway closure area due to potentially unstable landscape in the post Helene environment.
Road Construction Projects
Parkway areas closed for ongoing road maintenance and construction projects.
