The park Visitor Center, historic Dover Hotel and Carriage House, and park Comfort Station will be closed for the Christmas and New Year's holidays: December 25 and January 1. The National Park grounds, trails, and roads will be open, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.

Fort Donelson NB Park Fall Hours
Visitor Access to Fort Donelson NB Park Lands: Pedestrian Access is from sunrise to sunset. Automobile Access to Fort Donelson NB Park Roads 8:00 am – 6:00 p.m. daily.
Temporary Road Closure
A section of Fort Donelson Park Road will be closed September 10th, 2025 to permit for the removal of two hazardous trees. This closure only affects vehicle access to Tour Stop 5 (Smith’s Attack) and Tour Stop 6 (Union Camp).
